Beyond Heresy versus Orthodoxy: Ideas about Confession and Forgiveness in Fifteenth-Century England
Abstract:- CMRS announces the third of its three colloquia for fall 2009. These
colloquia serve the graduate interdisciplinary certificate, but all
interested students and faculty are invited to attend. Professors Sarah Beckwith and Fiona Somerset will discuss recent research on fifteenth-century English religious culture as presented by a range of scholars at the recent "After Arundel" conference in spring 2009, and they will present for discussion excerpts from their papers read at that conference.
